Thank you for celebrating one of the most amazing havens of inspiration in San Francisco. Whenever I emerge from Britex’s wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling fabrics and notions, I am buoyed with one thousand new ideas. Your photos are a beautiful homage to this grand store.
Hi Miss Tango, I've been all over your Flickr site. Now I get to see the fabric goodies all over again. Nice going, starting up a blog to feature your fotos.
Thank you so much! I can only imagine the beautiful things you would create with these colorful fabrics.
I'm glad you made it over here, too. Welcome.
Hi Dianne,
I thought the same thing about you when I saw your photo. I thought, "Now there's a lady that can take a photograph!" I'm glad you got such a wonderful response to your picture.

Hi dutchbaby,
I knew you would love these photos, too. One could spend a small (or large) fortune there. The notions floor is the one that gets me especially.
Being inside Britex makes me wish that I didn't get a D+ in sewing.
oooh! shiny pretty!!! thank you for the splash of color to brighten my day! ;o)
Hi debbi,
I'm so glad you liked the photos! I kept looking for the prettiest colors for you.
My little Valentine for today. ;-)

Wow, at first I was disappointed to have to click to a separate blog, but now I am just awestruck! What talent you have.
Such a visual pleasure. Now I will look with delight to this second blog!
Hi Ms. Octavine,
When I saw all the colors on the bolts of fabric, the first thing it made me think is that the store is like a giant box of crayons.
Do you sew as well? How multitalented can you be?!!
Hi Mtnhighmama,
I understand. But I wanted to have a place that was simple. So that the photos would speak for themselves. I'm glad you came around and thank you!
Hi Annie,
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to skip you! Thank you for being all over my flickr account. It's nice to see you there, too.
