Unsurprisingly, yet amazingly good.

Hi TP!

Thank YOU! I'm so glad to see you're the first one here.

So beautiful! I love the setting for these photographs. I bet Red Shoes is overwhelmed by these photos. She is such a beauty. She seems very self-possessed and confident, as well. I love these images and I love the arm band on her left forearm. Completely beautiful. You have a gift, my friend.

I think she is very happy with the photos too! It was a great experience to take the photos in a place that means a lot to her: the theatre.

I'm so glad you liked the series. It's wonderful to be able to share them with you, just like you were here with me.

Just gorgeous! I love everything about every single one of those pictures.

I sincerely urge you to find a magical way to appear in Buenos Aires and take pictures of me, and of Miss Tango & Isa of course, and we can drink lots of limoncello! ;-) he he

what a gorgeous capture of her world and her beauty. just stunning.

Hola Tina,

I know...I'm working on it. Seriously. I want to make this photography stuff work!

Someday I know I will take your photo. And if it's with Miss Tango and beautiful Isa, then that's even better.

Think good thoughts that somehow I will be "discovered!"

xoxo

Hi Ms. Wellspring,

I am learning that it's really important to have something personal as a part of these photo shoots. Being with Red Shoes in her world made a huge difference in how these photos came out, because there's so much more of her in them.

Tangobaby, You are a real artist. Your talents just keep unfolding for us to see. How lucky for us. You really touch my heart.

I'm honored to be among your "beautiful" subjects you have photographed but I think Sunshine and Red Shoes top me by leaps and bounds =p

Of course you're really the one to make all of your subjects look good =)

Hi Elizabeth,

I'm so glad you found your way over here, too. I think I still don't know what I am doing all the time, but I bet you thought that when you first started painting, but you loved painting so much you just kept going.

I am so lucky to be supported by so many people already, both near and far, and that is probably the best part of all.

Thank you for being so special.

Hi Christian,

Of course you are one of my beautiful models! You turned out quite handsomely and I think you have some special admirers if you read the comments on your photos.

Hi Lala,

I love when you visit me here. I can just feel your enjoyment of these photos.

Ah, to be in Granada and I could take pics of you and Moncheri. One can dream, right?

;-)

Hi christina,

Thank you so much!

Bravo! You've done it again. I am so impressed with you and with Red Shoes. Fantastic photos. xoxox

femme.fotographie July 3, 2008 at 3:39 PM

Hi paris parfait,

You know you are very high on my list for beautiful women I want to take pictures of, don't you?!

Thank you for the compliment, too.

Oh! I had a dream that I got to take pictures of Jordanna and her beautiful designs...I just remembered.

If Red Shoes was in my theatre's fly rail, the crew would miss all their cues!! Really well done, and close to my heart to since you took the photos in her natural environment! ;-) My favorite is the lace gloves and the wrench. Perfect juxtaposition! As well as perfect for theatre. :-)

Red Shoes July 4, 2008 at 8:29 AM

Thanks, everyone!

Debbi, I'm envisioning women occupying fly rails now. You know how we say every theatre has a ghost? Maybe every theatre needs some exotically plumed lady or gent living in the fly rail. Like a mascot!

FogBay July 6, 2008 at 5:39 PM

I'm really enjoying your portrait series. You've got a great natural instinct for posing your subjects and capturing them. More please.

femme.fotographie July 7, 2008 at 10:43 AM

Hi FogBay,

Thank you so much. I have another session scheduled soon, but I tell you, the more I take photos, the less I want to sit here and wait to take them!

Photography is both inspiring and making me very impatient. I bet you understand entirely.

Alessandra Cave July 21, 2008 at 4:27 PM

Extraordinary!! These are stunning!!

femme.fotographie July 22, 2008 at 8:38 AM

Thank you, Gypsy Alex. Maybe you'll be one of my models someday? (hint, hint.)
